U Cafe Hoi An supports organic farmers of Tra Que to provide Vietnamese-Japanese fusion dishes, as well as serving organic and fairtrade coffee brought directly from a coffee farmer in Dak Lak
Responsibility
The cafe supports women of Hoi An/Quang Nam/Da Nang through vocational and language training and works with local NGOs and charity organizations to provide bikes for schoolchildren in poverty. Also, the cafe offers vocational training in catering and hospitality for disadvantaged young people in Hoi An and Da Nang, and language training in English, Japanese and Esperanto. The cafe’s equipped with its own eco-biological sewer system and they run regular water quality checks to minimize the impact on the nearby river.

U cafe is a social enterprise offers locally sourced ingredients from markets and from several organic farms in a nearby village Tra Que, and from organic coffee farmers in Dak Lak.
