Travel Experience
Tohe is a store in Hanoi, Viet Nam, founded with the vision of aiding children from all manner of disadvantaged backgrounds. They sell a wide variety of products including fashion items, accessories, stationary, home-ware and children's toys.
Responsibility
Tohe not only offers disadvantaged children the opportunity to express themselves using the visual arts (an area which is completely neglected in many school curricula), but also directly benefits communities through nurturing artistic potential and raising self confidence of children who otherwise may have fallen through the gaps of society. Tohe provide a number of initiatives such as Tohe Fun, a program for creating artistic free playground for handicapped children. Additionally Tohe take care to use environmentally materials for their art creation.
Business Case
Selected artworks from the children are used as prints for lifestyle products such as carry bags, laptop cases, notebooks and soft toys. Profits from sales are reinvested into the art development programs and scholarships for talented children.
