Travel Experience

Located 3 miles (4.8 Km) away from Kalaw downtown, tucked away in 30 acres (12 hectares) of land in the charming hillside of Shan Plateau. A farmhouse, vegetable garden, Organic farm and wellness centre are incorporated within the lodge ground. One of the highlights at the lodge is interaction with locals to explore and uncover their daily lifestyle without having to compromise on comfort.

Responsibility

A contribution from every client is made towards the upkeep of existing community activities which involve various sectors including local lifestyle, product and cultural maintenance. We are concern about the conservation of the cultures and environments where we visit. We operate in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. We aim to apply the principles of responsible travel – minimize environmental impact, maximize cultural interaction and ensure an economic benefit to the community.

Business Case

We are committed to working closely with the community in order to maximise the benefit to local. Our lodge was built using 90% of the workforce from communities around us. After the construction, we still commit to use a minimum of 80% of our staff from the community around us by providing various training and help them with opportunities to professional life.
