Travel Experience

Phare Ponleu Selpak – in Khmer, The Brightness of the Arts – is a Cambodian non-profit arts school located in Battambang. It is offering support to disadvantaged children and youth through arts, education, social support and community outreach programmes since 1994. Over 1000 students are empowered every year through our schools. General education, performing arts, visual and applied arts: all our leisure and vocational programs aim to develop their creativity, communication and life skills, and give them the opportunity and support to access a sustainable artistic career whilst preserving and promoting Cambodian arts and culture. The performers of our Battambang circus venue are students attending our professional circus program. The benefits from each performance in the family-like atmosphere of our campus big top is directly supporting their studies. In the future, they will have the opportunity to perform in Siem Reap and tour around the world. More than a circus, our Battambang campus is hosting a unique creation hub with our visual and performing arts schools, exhibition space, animation studio and students works boutique. Responsibility

Phare Ponleu Selpak is a non-profit Cambodian association improving the lives of children, young adults, and their families with art schools, educational programs, and social support since 1994. They seek to provide education, access to the arts, vocational training, and professional pathways to the children and young adults of the community.

Business Case

The donation supports changing the lives of thousands of children and youth through arts, education and social support. Also, 100% of the money donated through the Child Sponsorship Program goes directly to provides the students with targeted support, including free nutritious lunch 5 days a week, breakfast and Dinner Stipends, school supplies, first aid & medical care, family and personal counselling from professional social workers and needs-based assistance.
