Hanchey Bamboo Resort operates as a training centre where they provide work experience and internships for disadvantaged Cambodian youths. Infused with the Buddhist principles the Hanchey Bamboo Resorts creates social impact through training, employment opportunity and internships former and present students of the Smile Institute. In the areas of Hospitality, Construction, Maintenance, Administration and Tourism Management the staff broadens their knowledge setting a solid foundation for their working future.

Business Case

Buddhism for Social Development Action (BSDA) in a Cambodia NGO established in 2005 by seven monks. BSDA’s programs cover a large scope, including education and vocational training for Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Community and democracy development and work with Drug users and the HIV/Aids infected. Hanchey Bamboo Resort is the latest of the BSDA flagship programs. The resort runs as a training centre providing education and work experience for the marginal youth of the Kampong Cham region.
