Responsibility
Founded in 1998 by Hagar International, a non-governmental organization with a primary focus on assisting underprivileged women and children. In 2007, Hagar Catering was officially incorporated as a private company and has since delivered solid and sustainable results while remaining true to its social commitment and community engagement. Hagar supported women and child victims of trafficking, domestic violence and exploitation in Afghanistan, Cambodia and Vietnam. They train employment and career progression opportunity in a safe and supportive work environment for women.
Business Case
They run a social enterprise that places a strong emphasis on capacity building, training and career pathways for approx 200 permanent staff. They also take part in Kampuchea Balopp Day and to be part of the plastic-free event with GoGreen Cambodia on where they served 300 children who brought their own utensils for lunch service.
