JC International Airlines, a Chinese owned airline operating out of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, will launch a new service to Yangon 15 August.
It will mark the first direct flight between Yangon the commercial capital of Myanmar and Phnom Penh capital of Cambodia.
The airline also identified on its network chart a triangle route from Phnom Penh to Macau and then to Mandalay, Myanmar’s second-largest city, before returning to Phnom Penh. However, the service is not bookable when checking the airline’s website.
The new direct service Phnom Penh-Yangon will start with three weekly flights on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
The flight will depart Phnom Penh at 1130 and arrive in Yangon at 1400. The round-trip fare is USD310 with bookings open on the website.
The airline already flies from Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville or Siem Reap to Bangkok, Macau, Taipei and cities in China; Chengdu, Fuzhou, Shenzhen and Wuhan.

According to Wikipedia, some of the flights that the airline flagged as operational earlier this year, such as Singapore and Seoul, are now flagged “terminated.”
Meanwhile, the airline posted a warning on its website at the weekend after two Cambodian passengers were refused entry at Bangkok in Thailand.
It reminded passengers planning travel to Thailand that they must buy a round-trip ticket or an onward fare to a third country or face deportation from Thailand.
