Operators and travel agencies are being urged to join the inaugural Cambodia Travel Mart (CTM) Exhibition, taking place in Siem Reap from November 17-19.

Thong Khon, Cambodia’s Minister of Tourism, is asking tourism associations to encourage members to be part of the exhibition.

“With over 200 international companies from around the world, CTM will be a great forum for the tourism sector in the Asia Pacific region,” Khon said.

“This important event is a great opportunity for local companies to promote their tourism products to potential buyers around the world.”

Ho Vandy, president of World Express Tour and Travel Company, said attending CTM “is a must for Cambodian tour operators and travel agencies”.

“A few years ago, we had the Angkor International Exhibition, which was held for only two years. Ten years later there is a new event in the sector, and this is great news for the promotion of Cambodia as a travel destination,” Vandy said.
