Main objectives: To strengthen the capacity of heritage managers to manage tourism so that it becomes a real tool for protection, set up a framework and course for training Guides specialized in cultural heritage, institutionalize heritage management training at subregional and national level.
C.2. Ecotourism development along transboundary biodiversity corridors
Main objectives: To guarantee the best possible management and protection of natural heritage using tourism to create related livelihood activities for local communities and engage them more into the conservation effort of their natural resources.
C.3. Mitigation of social negative impacts & promotion of responsible tourism practices
Main objectives: To address social negative impacts (HIV/AIDS, sex exploitation) which growth tends to generate if not carefully controlled.

Main objectives: To raise levels of knowledge and awareness of, as well as to preserve and document, quickly fading cultural traditions, to create and implement frameworks for involving the ethnic communities in the planning, development, and organisation of ethnic tourism in their communities.
C.5. In the steps of Shiva and the Lord Buddha; linking the religious heritage of the GMS
Main objectives: To develop tourism thematic circuit linking heritage sites, Increase knowledge about these civilizations, share the knowledge and experience between heritage site managers, and institutions.
