90-Day Visa-Free Stay for Gulf Medical Tourists in Thailand

The Gulf Today reports that medical tourists from the Gulf region, along with their families and “household service workers”, are allowed to stay in Thailand for 90 days without visa.

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Deputy Governor for International Marketing in Europe/Middle East/Americas, Tanes Petsuwan, told the newspaper: “Besides the visa policy, we also ensure that quality of service and international standards of medical treatment are provided through the regular surveillance of health institutions and recruitment of board-certified nurses.”
