Mekong Tourism Office Mission Statement

To develop and promote the Mekong as a single destination, offering a diversity of good quality and high-yielding sub-regional products that help to distribute the benefits of of tourism more widely; add to the tourism development efforts of each GMS country; and contribute to poverty reduction, gender equality and empowerment of women, and sustainable development, while minimizing any adverse impacts.

Tourism Innovations

The National Geographic Society's first "Geotourism Challenge: Celebrating Places/Changing Lives" competition to identify and showcase innovators in tourism development, management and marketing is accepting online applications through April 16.
